Spaghetti Bolognaise


An Italian speciality

This sparkling little number will delight your taste palettes and fill you with with all those Italian aromas. Makes two large servings


Part 1

  1. Heat large frying pan with 6 table spoons of Olive Oil
  2. Chop and add Peppers, Onion, other finely chopped vegtables and Garlic
  3. Add herbs and seasoning
  4. Heat for 2 mins until Onions turn slightly brown
  5. Add mince, bacon and tomato Puree plus a half teaspoon of sugar to sweaten
  6. Bring to boil and Simmer for 45mins

Part 2

  1. 35mins into the simmering, prepare half a medium sized saucepan with slightly salted water ( 1/2 teaspoon ) + a little olive oil
  2. Bring water to boil and add the Spaghetti, simmer for 10 mins
  3. Test spaghetti by either tasting or flinging a strand at the kitchen titles - If it sticks to the tiles then it is ready to eat !

Part 3

  1. Drain Spaghetti in colander
  2. Add Spaghetti to plate and grate cheddar cheese on top
  3. Pour over Bolognaise Sauce onto spaghetti and grate Parmigann Cheese over the sauce
  4. That should now be ready for someone/thing to eat.
